The redesign of Diario de Mexico contemplated the development of special editions in which a certain topic occupies more than 50% of the newspaper.
The 30th anniversary of the earthquake that devastated Mexico City was a clear example of this kind of edition. The application of a work process that runs parallel to the planning of the daily edition was one of the main goals achieved

by the Editorial Department.
